Experiencia negativa: Do not recommend. Ac turned on very late. No fans in common areas. Unbearable to sleep before 00:00. No pressure in the shower. No wifi. Creepy lady demanding deposit money consistently even though she was in possession of the passport. Don’t waste your time. Ruined the whole day. Everyone cancelled or checked out earlier… All around weird.

Experiencia fantástica: Mi familia y yo pasamos 8 días en magic bacalar y estuvo excelente son varios puntos buenos que tiene este alojamiento. Primero súper ubicado ya que se encuentra a un lado de eco parque y de los atractivos ( balnearios y salida de tours) caminando llegas al fuerte y aún lado el centro etc. Tiene un hermoso muelle donde puedes disfrutar de la bella vista y un chapuzón en la laguna. Todas las dudas e inquietudes fueron resueltas al momento. Las habitaciones privadas son sencillas pero cómodas con su aire acondicionado y ventilador están por fuera del hostal así que se tiene caminar un poco para llegar al muelle, pero sin problema. Nos dejaron usar la cocina y eso para nosotros fue muy importante, nos dejaron usar el refri con bastante espacio. Mis hijas disfrutaron mucho la alberca. Hay restaurantes, bares y lavandería muy cerca, caminando llegas. Buen precio ya que tiene su muelle a la orilla de la laguna. Tiene algunas reglas como no meter alcohol y solo hay que respetarlo. Te piden un depósito de $200 y te lo regresan al salir. Agradezco a todo el personal ya que mi estancia en Bacalar fue placentera.

Power went out multiple times in the evening and because of that the wifi did not work the whole time we stayed, not really their fault but could do something to compensate… Staff was decently friendly. You aren’t allowed your bags in the room so that was a bit inconvenient.

While the location is convenient, our experience fell far short of expectations. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several issues. The private room we booked was advertised as 30m², but in reality, it barely exceeded 10m². Moreover, the pervasive smell of mold made the room almost uninhabitable. Given the conditions, we opted to relocate to a different hotel after initially booking a five-night stay. Regrettably, our request for a partial refund, considering we hadn't utilized the room, was declined by the management. For potential guests considering this accommodation, it's crucial to weigh the options carefully. While it may suit those on a tight budget or seeking a hostel experience, the discrepancy between the advertised space and the actual size, coupled with the mold issue, may not be acceptable for everyone. Furthermore, at approximately €100 per night, the value proposition diminishes significantly when compared to other options offering superior comfort and service for a slightly higher price. Ultimately, while this accommodation may serve a specific demographic, discerning travelers seeking a comfortable and mold-free environment may want to explore alternative options.

Experiencia negativa: This place have accused me and my friend of having damaged properties with 0 proof and they threatened to call the cops on us then decide to keep our deposit for no valid reason even though the location is indeed good there are other places in bacalar with better service and better staff I would never ever go back there even it was the last open hostal in bacalar I'd rather sleep outside then go back to this place . BEWARE they will do ALL they can to keep your hard earned money aka your deposit..my advice take pics of whatever you rent from them ....and ask for receipts ... Detalles destacados: They find any reason possible to not return deposits to guests they turned my calm stay into a stressful experience I will never forget the worst experience in my 15 years traveling around the globe

Experiencia negativa: Es caro para lo que es, y tiene algunas restricciones que no ayudan. Los cuartos con baño están fuera del lugar, lejos de la laguna incluso para llegar hay que pasar por la calle. Son cuartos estilo con todos los servicios pero simples, tipo hotel de carretera. Caros para lo que es; no incluye desayunos. El lugar es bonito pero el acceso a la laguna es pequeño para convivir y no permiten ingresar bebidas ni que alguien de fuera acompañe (a menos de pagar un costo extra).

Experiencia negativa: Aquí no van a encontrar una buena relación costo-beneficio, demasiado caro para las instalaciones que ofrecen. El ambiente del lugar se puso raro y tenso varias veces por el staff, estaban enojados entre ellos y con los huéspedes. El check in se me hace una broma que sea a las 3:30 pm para un hostal que solo cambia las sábanas, y ademas no estaban listas nuestras camas a esta hora tampoco. Las habitaciones parecen hechas de cartón porque todo se escucha, lamentablemente en la madrugada llegamos a escuchar lo que parecía abuso sexual en la habitación de arriba, se escuchaba como si fuera dentro de nuestra habitación. Lo único bueno es la laguna no esperen mucho de los demás, por el mismo precio vayan mejor a Yak Lake hostal.

Experiencia positiva: Magnificent view from the docks, access to swimming and good facilities. I stayed in the tent as the price was decent, however understood the price after seeing the mattress (two thin lawn chair mats) and the tent set ups (approx 12 tents side by side). Didn’t sleep great, however the sunrise view was worth the stay. I found the deposit and the rules quite excessive, but if you respect them you do get your money back, contrary to previous comments. The squad of baby cats surely put a smile on my face during this stay.

Experiencia fantástica: Nous avons fait du catamaran. C'était un trip de 4h vraiment incroyable. Notre skipper était très sympa et parlait bien anglais. On a fait le tour de cenoque, météorite et baigné dans la baie, canal des pirates. On a mangé un petit repas sympa sur le catamaran.

Experiencia negativa: The noise omg it was terrible. Spent the night over Christmas and were kept up until 4AM by raging techno just a few steps from the room. They described this place and quiet and party free when we were being checked in so I’m surprised that we’re dealing with this problem. The rooms have 0 insulation and every sound from surrounding rooms and outside can be heard. Not a problem so much if they don’t hire loud DJs to blast music less than 30 feet/10 meters from the room through the entire night. Absolutely would not waste my money here again. Spent $90 a night on a room and couldn’t get an ounce of sleep. Additionally the one bedrooms are glorified attics with nowhere to put your things. Literally just a mattress on the floor. Such a shame

Experiencia negativa: Prix max pour service horrible Après 2 mois au Mexique ce sera notre seul mauvais (médiocre) souvenir en termes de logement ! C’est le plus cher hostal que l’on ait jamais payé, et le plus claqué au sol (lockers cassés, pas d’eau chaude, trous dans les douches, tout est fait de bric et de broc, wifi dispo a l’accueil uniquement, pas de serviette ni de drap en dortoir -sans compter, de manière plus subjective, l’ambiance de mort qui y règne et la nonchalance permanente du staff) Caméras partout, les réceptionnistes (ou plutôt les âmes perdues qui font du volontariat ) guettent toute la journée en plein milieu du lieu de vie au lieu de rester dans leur réception. Si encore c’était pour créer du lien avec les guests, mais tout ce qui compte c’est encaisser le cash et trouver des moyens de ne pas rendre les cautions Malgré la possibilité de cuisiner, interdiction formelle de rentrer les boissons alcoolisées, il faut les consommer au bar de l’hostal, si l’on peut l’appeler ainsi car il s’agit plutôt d’un cabanon de misère qui fait vente à emporter sans tables ni chaises, sans aucune valeur ajoutée donc) Le seul avantage est l’accès a la lagune qui a priori justifie le prix, mais encore une fois a été aménagé dans le but de générer plus de revenus plutôt que de mettre les guests à l’aise (cabanon-bar, qq pauvres sieges et hamacs sous 1 palapa au bout du ponton, bords de la lagune en réalité réservé aux dortoirs “premium” Lorsque l’on demande pk il n’y a pas d’eau chaude on nous dit qu’il aurait fallu sortir de la douche pour demander à l’actionner (?!?). Puis on nous dit que l’eau chaude n’a jamais été mentionnée au check in. On a bien l’impression que le mécontentement des guests ne fait ni chaud ni froid au personnel, qui semble bien s’en amuser, les filles se cachent et fuient la discussion, baissant les yeux et haussant les épaules, incapables de dire un mot, et le gros molosse de la bande se braque en nous regardant de haut d’un air de défi On nous refuse tout discount, demandé compte tenu du décalage prix/service annoncé. Après avoir vu les nombreux commentaires disant qu’ils ne rendent jamais les cautions, on demande à payer la 2e nuit avec la caution en moins. Ce qui nous vaudra la visite de la police avec une belle amende, et l’interdiction de rester dormir alors que l’on a fini par payer entièrement la 2e nuit. Bien sur pas de retour de caution non plus, étant donné “ce que l’on a fait” Tout n’est que règle et l’ambiance est carrément morose, avec la tentative (ratée) de se donner un style boheme/hippie. Changez de métier svp bande de voleurs Tarifs : 10€ /personne pour un terrain de camping surchargé et boueux, sans même une bache pour pluie/soleil comme dans tous les campings au Mexique 20-25€ /personne en dortoir sans vraiment de vue lagune comme décrit, sans serviette, sans drap. A FUIR >>>>Je recommande plutôt l’hôtel Xíinbal, très gentils, super service et rapport qualité/prix.

Experiencia negativa: I am ONLY reviewing the Kayak rental service. I can only comment on the kayak rental, not the actual accommodation. The lady at the main reception was lovely but I had a poor experience with the kayak rental. All the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. They said I only have one hour and then gave me the most unsteady kayak I had ever used. More like an open piece of plastic. I tried my best but felt like it was too difficult so I went back early. However, they forced me to pay for the whole hour. It is not the money, but the idea of it. Extremely poor customer service. Maybe I was expecting too much, and it was cheap at 100 pesos. However, I would go somewhere more established and pay a bit more in the future.

Experiencia positiva: Camped overnight with my own gear but tents and dorms available. Communal kitchen with storage lockers. Great for backpackers. Lovely waterfront.

Experiencia negativa: Prix très excessif pour la prestation...135 € la nuit. Très forte odeur de moisi dans chambre, limite supportable, nettoyage moyen, chambre pauvre en équipement, peu de lumière, drap et linge pas changé pendant le séjour. Le seul point positif, c'est le ponton pour l'accès à la lagune.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently rented a cabin from this place in Bacalar and it was great. The cabin had air conditioning and it was small and cozy with a tropical style. The place also offers kayak and paddle board rentals which was great. They also had a party with a DJ which was fun. The location of the cabin is close to the fancy bridge, which is a solid spot for staying in Bacalar. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cabin rental with fun activities and a good party atmosphere.

Experiencia positiva: Avid solo female traveler. Mixed feelings about this hostel. Location, location, location!! Beautiful place. Beds are so so. Rooms are so so. No warm water, the kitchen is full of flies, not the best service. So you decide based on your needs. Easy to find. The city is a must see.

Experiencia positiva: The location of this hostel holds the fourth star, basic hostel otherwise . Set right on the lake front with a double jetty with sunbathing area and covered hammock area. Catamaran , kayaking and sailing available from this private dock. Showers were amazing, first warm shower in 2 weeks! The negatives are: 1 day 2 guests had their wallet stolen, the kitchen is I'll equipped and not big if everyone was to cook, and wifi is only in the reception area! This made it difficult to share the lovely photos of this place :)

Experiencia negativa: Stayed in May. Too busy to review till now. The water was greenish not that pretty compared to the southern side. Same name but not the same management as 2018. Price has doubled. Breakfast of eggs beans and fruit is now only toast and coffee, have to wait 15 minutes in line to get one. The reception has moved inwards and sometimes absent, leaving the dorm at entrance inquired by strangers plus mysterious late arrivals, feel unsafe, plus the ceiling/wooden floor of the second floor have big gaps in between, the dust drop when they walk or clean. The dorm closer to the lake only has mosquito net and wooden boards on one side, the bed sheet gets very humid and sticky during night. No warm showers, heard other shower takers asking the same. A camping guy, a girl, and a volunteer guy talked about their food left in the fridge been eaten. 6+ volunteers, some very ill-mannered, made paid gust out of place. Returned from bathroom a volunteer with long bleached hair was washing her mope at a face washing sink where my sanitary products were at, while 3 others were empty, I nicely pointed to her she had splashed mope water on my bottle, she didn’t apologize. Breakfast finished at 10, but the volunteer with gray sporty top always liked to wash her buckets around lunch hour when people were busy cooking, taking 10+ minutes while others had to give up washing someone else’s left over but nicer pan and get a scratchy one. I nicely informed her I had to pour extra water from a veggie can, instead of voluntarily moving a little to the side she told me why I can’t wait. I explained she was taking a long time my stir fry was getting burned waiting the veggies to be added and I was pouring at the very corner of the sink away from her things, she complained my veggie water was making her bucket with whatever black dirt inside dirty, and she came back took over the sink again the next day. It was a little difficult had to go all the way up to the front yard to inform the night guard turning on the air conditioning in the center of the dorm, instead of the side one, but he was nice. The morning reception who was initially a little strict turned out to be nice and very effective. Informed her both lighters could only make sparkles difficult for the stove, she brought a long one the next day. I don’t have to complain the afternoon guy turned his back on me when I try to ask a shift for my ex-reception fried worked at that hostel and ask him about his cooking, giving me a smile dropping face while no one else around was just “brilliant”, I definitely take back all my carryings asking if the hostel had his meals covered if he was very tired if he was leaving soon enjoy his break, and walk away for miles whenever he came by. Nevertheless, he should be tied to the tree. Last day morning the water was warm, the morning reception explain the boiler was never broken it just needed to be turned on and waited for 15 minutes. HS, for that one week I stayed, raining for days and very cool at night still had to take cold showers, asked the afternoon reception twice, telling me he had informed the management but they didn’t fix it, were all lies.

Experiencia fantástica: We did not stay in the camping, however we booked a 4 hours catamaran tour for two person with a private driver. We paid around 110 EUR for two. The driver was really nice and the places we went to are perfectly chosen. More information during the tour could be cool. :)

Experiencia negativa: TO BE AVOIDED This place is definitively not worth the money!! We booked a double room with a private bathroom. Upon check-in, we got to see it: it stank of humidity and chemistry, it was very small and dark, and even had humidity spots on the walls with windows facing a wall so you felt like in a prison cell. It's outside the camping premises, away from the 'nice' photo spot from the lagoon pont. If you want to pay 95 euros for the experience of sleeping a night in prison cell, go for it. Otherwise, consider other options. At least, they provided us with another (unpractical) room, without bathroom (so you need to use the shared facilities which - due to holes in their wood construction - do not allow for privacy), and the room was at the end of a path without lights, steep staircases, low ceilings... Hurt my head several times. Mosquito nets with holes, too... TO TOP ALL OF THIS, we did not get part of our money back for this downgrade!!

Experiencia negativa: ATTENTION ! les chambres n'ont rien à voir aux photos. Elles sont dans un batiment à part avec des fenêtres de prisons et une très forte odeur d'humidité. Il y a des tâches d'humidité sur les mur et l'air y est irrespirable. On a payé 80 euros par nuit plus frais de Cb sur une reservation initiale de 2 nuits. Une arnaque. Le personnel nous a fait attendre le retour du manager pour un remboursement au moins partiel pour au final nous dire non. Ils beneficient des avis de leurs autres services comme location de kayak ou camping ce qui porte à confusion et ils le savent. Je deconseille. Nous avons fini par dormir dans une cabane en bois sans salle de bain ce qui était mieux que de dormir dans une chambre cave. Les douches communes sont passables avec peu d'eau chaude. La pluspart des hebergements sur la rive ont un ponton sur la lagune. Ce lieu ne vaut pas le coup. C'est une sorte de terrain vague passable pour du camping. Ne pas payer plus de 15/10 euros la nuit. BE CAREFULL. The rooms they're renting are apart of the camping/hostel initial location. The rooms smells bad with strong humidity. It's unhealthy and depressing to sleep there. The windows looks like jail as the unfinish building does. They take advantage of the rating from the kayak rent or the camping to rent those rooms at this price. They know it. And they din't care as they won''t give you any refund. The room are not worth it at all. We paid 80 eur per night wich is totally abusive regarding the place. Bad experience for us. The manager don't care and won't give you any money back. Most of the real hotels on the coast has an access to the lagune. Don't be impress by the photo they put on the website and read well the comment. Don't book until you there and ask to visit the room first if you desperate to find a place to stay. It was a bad experience.

Experiencia negativa: Magic Bacalar is a horrible place to stay for plenty of reasons. The prison cell like rooms smell nasty, come with free stains on the sheets and the worst part is: all of the rooms are being locked with metal bars by night. That‘s right, the only exit for all the rooms is being closed after 11pm. In order to get out, you Need to Call a phone number, which is written on a sheet of paper at the reception. Not only does this create a prison like atmosphere, in case of an actual emergency, the only way out of the building for the hotel rooms is blocked by a metal gate with a padlock. Next to the hotel is an extremely loud bar, that just opened up and blasts music until 4am. Even though pretty much everyone complained to the staff about the unbearable noise, they didnt take any action and advised us to call the police ourselves. The garden of the hotel looks like the place that dogs go to die and the kitchen and set up of the community areas is being kept simple to put it nicely. Since we didn‘t stay at the dorm, we don‘t know in which condition that building is. The only nice think about the hotel is the pier and it‘s access to the lagoon. Still: If you look for a clean and relaxed place to sleep that doesn‘t feel like a jail, go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Auberge à fuir, tout ce qu'il veulent c'est toujours plus d'argent. Nous somme arriver tôt le matin (6h) sans réservation, nous avions un bus de nuit. Le personnel de nuit nous a enregistré et fait payer pour notre première nuit (notre propre tente que l'on plante) Cependant 4h plus tard on nous dit que ce que l'on a payer(prix d'une nuit complète) était finalement juste pour les 4h que l'on avait passé ici le matin à monter notre tente et poser nos affaires, car normalement le check-in est à 3pm(ce que l'on ne nous a absolument pas dit) . On nous a finalement fait payer que la moitié d'une nuit pour ses 4 heures de matinée après négociations. La moindre des choses aurais été de nous prévenir dès l'arriver à 6h que le check-in était à 3:00 pm (on aurais attendu). On ne peut également pas étendre nos serviettes ou maillot de bain dans le camping... Si juste derrière une pancarte à l'accueil pour que ce ne sois pas visible je suppose... Et les prix affichés sur leur site internet ne sont plus les mêmes. Tout est plus cher. Le petit déjeuner sois disant très copieux et comprix dans tout les prix, sont en réalité juste un café et 2 tartines de pain de mie avec beurre et une cuillère de marmelade. Préparer par seulement 2 personnes et un seul grill pain, pour 40 personnes. Je vous laisse imaginer le temps pour avoir ses 2 tartines Le personnel n'est pas très aimable, enfin surtout les 2 filles de l'accueil. Nous avons également écourter notre séjour car la maladie ma rattrapé, nous devions partir sur Tulum rapidement. Le soir un monsieur nous dit que c'est OK pour nous rembourser mais qu'il n'as pas la monnaie et qu'il faut juste demander le lendemain. Je m'occupe donc de réserver mes nouvelles nuits sur Tulum. La sois disante gérante le lendemain (Maina je crois) a complètement refuser de nous rembourser les 4 nuits de prolongation. Alors que nous ne passions même pas par Booking mais directement avec eux. Et que nous avion notre tente et matériel, donc rien à eux. Et surtout son collègue nous avait dit qu'il nous rembourserais, nous avons donc déjà réserver autre chose. Évidement elle nous sort pleins d'excuses comme quoi son partenaire qui voulais nous rembourser est juste un volontaire et qu'il ne savait pas. Ou que même ils ont du refuser du monde qui voulais venir en tente car c'était ''full'' ce qui est faux, il restait facilement 200m2 de terrain de libre. Elle n'a même pas accepté que quelqu'un reprenne notre réservation (juste changer le nom sur le carnet) c'était apparemment impossible En conclusion c'est un gros manque d'honnêteté de la part des gérants de cette auberge (site internet pas à jour, version qui différe entre chaque gérant et ommission d'informations...) La seule chose qui vaut le coup ici c'est le beau ponton sur la lagune, mais vous pouvez y allez à la journée.

Experiencia negativa: The location on the lake is wonderful, and the dormitories by the lake seem popular. However, common spaces felt neglected and staff was unresponsive/uncaring. I.e. the water dispenser for drinking water broke and staff did not provide an interim dispenser like a simple pitcher. Most of the time you couldn't find utensils or bowls. Only one pot for boiling water and one frying pan. The common kitchen facilities felt unhygienic. Some of the staff are friendly, others have forgotten to smile. People are smoking everywhere in the common outdoor spaces. Very little information was provided when I arrived. I don't recommend the rooms at the Bamboo Inn which is part of the compound. Thy are overpriced for what is offered. There is a humidity/mold problem in the building and staff were at first not responsive. Only when I wanted to leave and get a refund was a dehumidifier offered.

Experiencia positiva: Came here and rented a kayak for 2 hours for 400 pesos. They were very adamant on charging for an extra hour if we were more than 5 minutes late, even though there were nobody there retrieving the kayak when we brought the kayak back. The kayak was basic, uncomfortable with just hard plastic and no back rest, and only had a rope in the back but not front, making it difficult to carry. When I came back, I asked if I could go to the lake from their docks to swim for 15 minutes before I continued on my trip and the first lady denied us saying it was only for guests, even though we are paying customers. Fortunately another lady witnessing it had the decency to understand such a basic request and allowed us through. This place definitely seems like it just wants to take your money and no more.

Experiencia negativa: No se puede entrar con alcohol porque según su política se viene a relajar y a descansar pero ellos venden alcohol. Nunca regresan el depósito e inventaron que vomitamos el baño cuando no fue así Estafa total!!

Experiencia negativa: Es un hotel el cual no permite que ingreses con bebidas, con el argumento que ellos tienen un bar, se dejo un depósito y solo pusieron pretextos para no devolverlo, además de que en las recámaras quitan el aire acondicionado muy temprano a pesar de qué hay una ola de calor.

Experiencia negativa: Todo era bueno hasta que comenzaron a inventar que la gente de mi grupo metió mucho alcohol al hotel, que hicieron ruido, e incluso inventó que vomitaron, lo cual es mentira yo estuve al tanto de mi gente y nadie se puso ebrio y mucho menos vomitó. Bajo ese argumento no nos quisieron devolver parte de nuestro depósito. La gerente es muy prepotente, estaba reteniendo ilegalmente a mi compañero porque no le quería firmar una hoja donde aceptaba que ellos se quedaran con nuestro dinero del deposito. Él simplemente no la quiso firmar porque no estaba de acuerdo con la retención del dinero, y por esa razón se puso frente a él y no lo dejaba salir del hotel, tuve que firmar yo para que nos dejarán ir. Incluso, a mí mismo, que soy de la organización, inventó que yo metí alcohol, pero fue mentira porque cuando me dijeron que no se podía, me quedé afuera con mi amigo a terminamos nuestras cervezas en la calle. El lugar está bien, pero al staff le falta mucha capacitación y más amabilidad.

Te hacen dejar un depósito, y si te ven tomando algo no sea de su bar, ese depósito ya no lo tendrás de vuelta, como en mi caso.

Experiencia positiva: El personal en general conmigo estuvo fantásticamente bien. Sin duda, Leila fue adorable y la chica que se encargó del café y las tostadas en la mañana también muy bien la verdad. Estoy muy contenta en general con la experiencia. La excepción y lo que menos me gustó fue la manager que parece que no le gusta tener huespedes y contesta muy mal si le haces alguna pregunta... Quiero pensar que tendría un mal día y no tendría ganas de contestar nada. Pero no estaría de mas un poco de amabilidad y un poco mas de profesionalidad al tratar con la gente ya que gracias a los que venimos tiene el trabajo. ------ The staff in general with me was fantastically well. Experiencia positiva: El costo-beneficio es adecuado, me encantó que tengan acceso a la laguna y esté limpio, opté por rentar cama en habitación compartida con vista a la laguna y las instalaciones son adecuadas, sin embargo tuve dos problemas: 1.- Aire acondicionado: Solo lo prenden por las noches y el calor es muy intenso todo el día, por tanto, si quisieras tomar una siesta o simplemente refugiarte del calor, no existe la posibilidad ya que no lo puedes encender. 2.- Internet: El problema no es la velocidad, es que no llega hasta la habitación. Fuera de esto, la atención fue increíble, muy amables todos y la pasé genial en su muelle

Experiencia negativa: Una estafa total! Cuando llegas al hostal, te pide un deposito muy grande y hará todo lo posible para no devolvertelo. Te dice por ejemplo que no puedes meter alcohol a dentro de las instalaciones, lo que es absurdo para un hostal. Por solo una cerveza metida a dentro no te van a devolver el dinero. Están muy orientados en el negocio en lugar de la bienestar de la gente. No vayan aquí!

Experiencia negativa: Check in a las 3 y salida a las 11:00 am, malo el horario. Lo peor, es un hotel que no permiten que entres con tus propias bebidas. Experiencia negativa: El hostal precioso, muy buenas las facilidades para usar las instalaciones antes del chek in, pero nos echaron la culpa de haber vomitado los baños, lo cual no fue cierto. Además, en la noche estuvimos charlando en el muelle sin música y nos acusaron de haber hecho escandalo. Y por ello, no nos devolvieron el deposito.

Experiencia negativa: Las lagunas de Bacalar son maravillosas, El personal fue amable, sin embargo todos son pasantes, es decir, sin experiencia en el servicio al cliente del hostal. Tuvimos una mala experiencia al no querernos regresar el depósito dado, por razones injustas, y situaciones ajenas a nosotros. Se nos culpó de vomitar los baños porque éramos un grupo grande y llegaron a esa conclusión, sin embargo nosotros no fuimos. -No podemos meter alcohol porque ellos lo venden a un precio más elevado, cosa que en ningún hotel, hostal, Airbnb nos había pasado nunca. Pues no rentamos un restaurante. -Debido a que la gerente no pudo dormir bien fue otro motivo de la sanción económica, diciendo que escuchó ruidos en la madrugada, cosa que tampoco sucedió. Pues sólo un pequeño grupo se quedó en el muelle platicando (sin música) En conclusión -No dan bien las indicaciones explicaciones y el reglamento interno. -Son demasiado prohibitivos -No tienen una organización interior para atender las demandas del huésped (A nivel grupo) ¡¡Mucho cuidado!! ; exigan la explicación del reglamento interno y cuiden en todo momento que no les adjudiquen acciones que no hicieron para apropiarse de su depósito. Experiencia negativa: I had booked a tent, nothing looked like on the pictures. The whole space is really small and not well kept. Really not offering what the pictures promise. The tents are the most basic you can imagine, with matrasses so old and thin you lie on the floor. Same for the pillow it's basically not there. Both linen and the tent had holes. If that's not what you are looking for better choose something else. Additionally they told me if I cancel I would get a refund of 50% and in the end they only refunded 30%

Experiencia negativa: Rien à voir avec les photos ! Quelle déception lorsque nous sommes arrivés ! Si vous êtes en tante c’est bon ça passe, mais si vous cherchez une chambre privative, passez votre chemin ! Les chambres ressemblent à des prisons avec des murs juste en face des fenêtres, sans aucune lumière. Quel enfer. Il est au tout bout de la lagune, isolé. L’accès au ponton est moyen, et rien de paradisiaque de ce côté là !

Secondo me bisognerebbe rivedere un attimo il senso di ospitalità da parte di diversi gestori perché io in Italia non ho mai pagato una tenda 12,5 euro a notte...in più 2 bagni per circa 40 persone non ha molto senso! Experiencia fantástica: Fuimos a navegar y es precioso Fabián el capitán del catamarán es una bellísima persona, si algundia volviera a ese mismo lugar pediría que fuera el, el que nos guiará. No le daba un 5 sino un 10. olé Fabián!!! Er titit.

Experiencia negativa: Me siento decepcionada. Las opiniones no se adecuan para nada a la realidad. Pagamos habitación privada con baño compartido (carisima por cierto) . El baño se comparte con TODO el camping y demás habitaciones. Dos baños para una cantidad considerable de personas. La habitación esta llena de humedad y he estado escuchando toda la noche los ruidos de fuera y cómo la gente vomitaba. Antes de hospedarme pregunté personalmente si el internet funcionaba y especifiqué tenía que trabajar y me dijeron que sí . SORPRESA, no es que el internet funcionara mal es que ni llegaba a la habitación . En las opiniones pone que los kayacs eran gratuitos, otra mentira, tienen costo. Esta reseña la estoy haciendo desde otro Hostal CON INTERNET. No recomiendo Magic si no quieres fastidiar tus vacaciones.

Experiencia fantástica: Solo hicimos la excursión por la laguna en catamaran, sin alojamiento ni comida. El paseo fue espectacular, las vistas, el entorno, la historia... y sobre todo el capitán que nos llevó. Se llama Fabián y nos hizo el viaje muy ameno y entretenido, con musica e información sobre la historia de la laguna y de Bacalar. Muy agradecidos con el por ser un gran profesional y hacernos sentir completamente seguros a pesar de ser la primera vez que navegabamos en catamaran. Sin duda volveríamos a repetir pero con el mismo capitán.

Experiencia fantástica: Fuimos en el tour de la laguna con el velero más pequeño y la experiencia fue increíble. El capitán muy atento, respetuoso con la Laguna y con gran conocimiento del entorno. El paseo por vale muchísimo la pena. Lo recomiendo 100%. Muy bien de precio y el embarcadero muy agradable. Si vais a Bacalar, escogedlos a ellos!!

Experiencia fantástica: Me encanto mucho el concepto del lugar con la armonía de la naturaleza. Su vista y privacidad para estar en la laguna, simplemente es increíble. Pueden gozar de un atardecer y amanecer hermoso. Las instalaciones están en buen estado, el lugar limpio y áreas comunes perfectas para cocinar o estar conectadas al wifi. Lo que si recomiendo es que es preferible quedarse en el cuarto de hostal que no tiene vista a la Laguna, es más económico, tiene mosquetero, aire acondicionado, wifi y propio conector de luz. El área del hostal de la laguna solo posee aire acondicionado y conectores dispersos. El hostal de la entrada prácticamente solo es dar más pasos y se tiene acceso a la misma vista. Para caminar al centro son aprox. 15 minutos y contemplar que si eres una persona que no te gusta caminar, ver/ escuchar insectos, compartir baños o áreas comunes; definitivamente contemplar otra opción. El lugar es tranquilo, hay privacidad, ambiente familiar o silencioso y en la mañana dan café con pan. A mi me súper encanto y seguramente regresare.

Experiencia positiva: He venidos 3 veces 2017, 2018 y 2022 Esta última, cambio todo están mejorando el lugar aunque anteriormente me gustaba mucho esta vez esta mucho mejor , concepto muy bonito, me he quedado en los 3 tipos, compartida, privada y camping, en cuestión de costos si varían dependiendo tus necesidades, no dejen de visitar este lugar pocos con el acceso a A la laguna todo el tiempo, en lo personal las recepcionistas siempre atentas karen y casandra. Ahora bien Antes daban desayuno gratis eso era un plus ahora cuesta 50 que no esta nada mal, dan café y pan tostado gratis riquísimo, Esta a 10 min del centro caminando Mi única sugerencia es que en el área de camping pongan contactos para extensiones ya que eso daría mayor seguridad para cargar nuestros aparatos eléctricos. Otra sugerencia es que si ya no van usar la pagina de Facebook de la administración pasada, hagan la suya es importante que la información sea clara ya que cambian precios Espero regresar en 2 años, y siga teniendo la.misma esencia pero siempre mejorando.

Experiencia negativa: Nada recomendado, lo único bueno es la vista que tiene a la laguna. Las instalaciones son muy sucias, los baños un asco, no sé cada cuando los limpien pero hasta las paredes están sucias. Las casas de campaña son demasiado pequeñas y las almohadas y sábanas igualmente muy sucias. El precio es elevado para el servicio que dan.

Experiencia positiva: Me encantó el muelle es muy amplio se puede nadar, tienen servicio de lancha velero, kayaks, chaleco salvavidas aceptan tarjetas, el personal atento y amable si cuenta con estacionamiento y wifi, depende la habitación es el precio hay desde casa de campaña cuántos compartidos o privados, súper higiene, un lugar hermoso y desayuno riquísimo, tiene cerca tiendas para comprar productos y restaurantes cerca también y está en medio de puntos de interés un lugar muy recomendado para hospedarse. Doy 4 estrellas porque el wifi no llega hasta el cuarto.
