Experiencia fantástica: Such a gem! It was my first time doing pilates and i attended 2 classes, each instructor had great energy, a positive attitude and easy to follow instructions. Happy to have attened here & cant wait to continue!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm a guy with a history of injuries, ranging from sports to the military. I approached Pilates with some skepticism. However, Pilates Republic has made me a believer! The instructors here are incredibly skilled at accommodating different fitness levels and physical limitations. I've experienced a significant improvement in flexibility and core strength since starting. Pilates has helped me build strength without putting undue stress on my body. Pilates Republic has helped me find a space I actually enjoy working out in. I would definitely say give this studio a try! P.S. It is very clean! :)

Experiencia fantástica: Pilates Republic will always have a place in my heart as it is where I started my pilates journey (Fern, thank you for the push!!). Great location, good mix of classes for all levels. I especially love Shauna who introduced me to my first flying lunge, and now I can't get enough of it :)

Experiencia fantástica: I went to 4 classes throughout my 7 day stay in PDC, with instructors Shauna, Pilar, and Fern! Every class and instructor I had was amazing and I enjoyed the smaller class sizes, it basically felt like a private session! The facility is also super cute and very walkable if you are staying anywhere near 5th Ave. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Playa!

Experiencia negativa: Following a few internet recommendations, a friend and I decided to try out one class in the evening, even though WE HAVE NEVER DONE PILATES as this disclaimer was made aware. The 9am class with Fern was fully booked, so we opted with the 6pm class with Pilar. However, I must say her demeanor left me and my friend with a disgraceful aftertaste. Perhaps we are too sensitive, but we found her a bit rude and a bit pretentious. She spared no slack for beginners, and made remarks that felt me to be put down as a person trying Pilates. Her instructions were NOT clear, so much that she noticed and clarified. From miscounting repetitions to saying right when it is supposed to be left, I did not leave feeling satisfied. The studio itself is gorgeous and lofty, and perhaps I must give another instructor a try, but I hope this serves as a buyer beware for anyone potentially attempting to book an evening class there.

Experiencia fantástica: Love love love this studio and all of the instructors! I was a first timer to try pilates and everyone has been patient and helpful in getting me up to speed. I am hooked and you will be too!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best studio I’ve been too in Mexico by far. I love the all the teachers, and the booking is so easy. The place is super clean and the machines are new and in great condition. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Había hecho por muchos año ejercicio en el gimnasio y yo ya estaba muy triste porque me había lesionado ya varias veces. Así que decidí entrar a pilates y lo hice desde enero, y quiero decir que completamente me cambió mi manera de ver el ejercicio y disfrutarlo. Todas las maestras son increíbles y las clases pueden ser bilingües. Es completamente un si para cualquier que quiera enamorarse del movimiento y el balance.

Experiencia fantástica: Pilates reformer classes is some thing I wanted to do for a long time, as I’ve worked out my entire life, doing different types of classes, such as spinning, boot, camps, step classes, you name it I’ve tried it ! I have finally tried and fallin in love with Pilates Republic reformer classes! I think I’ve had some of the Best instructors through my life, and I am so thrilled and elated to have joined Pilates Republic. Ive tried a handful of their instructors and they’re fantastic. You can be at any level and get through the work-out as they also provide modifications. I encourage you to give it a shot. Trust me you’re gonna love it.-)

Experiencia fantástica: I love this studio!! Alexa is the most incredible teacher. I love her class. She is so gifted, I can feel my entire mind and body connecting during her class. It’s the most beautiful mind body work out. I can feel my stress leaving my body in her class!! I love this place, the community Tash and Fer have created is second to none. Experiencia fantástica: Excellent spot to do Pilates in PDC. Excellent Allegra 2 reformers, only six spots so you get lots of personal attention. As an intermediate Pilates student I found these classes to be challenging and creative.

Experiencia fantástica: I started doing private classes back in February with Fern who is absolutely amazing! When she opened her own studio in July, it was a no-brainer – and I joined her community at Pilates Republic, no questions asked. Now, I find myself gleefully sweating it out in group classes three times a week, all within the serene confines of a studio that feels so peaceful and looks beautiful. Since embarking on my pilates journey my body has totally changed. I swear, I've transformed into this lean, mean, flexibility machine. It's like my body's finally found its symphony and is dancing to its own Pilates beat. Not only has it amped up my strength, but it's also made me rethink the art of posture and keeping my core on high alert – a game-changer, especially on those days when I'm at the gym. Wholeheartedly, I'm shouting from the rooftops: if you're ready to embark and join an amazing community they've created, look no further. I wholeheartedly, unabashedly recommend them! Fern and her Pilates Republic team are just amazing. A triple thank you is in order: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: El mejor estudio de pilates en playa del carmen! Las instructoras están súper calificadas (súper importante si tienes alguna lesión) y cada una tiene un toque especial que hace las clases únicas, es un excelente ritual. Ah! Y el estudio es muy lindo :)

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so happy that this studio has opened in Playa! I've been looking for a way to strengthen safely, while still rehabbing an injury. I have taken pilates before but not on the reformer. It's easier but I still feel muscle fatigue. Alexa is fantastic! She is knowledgeable, gives great cues, corrections and is very attentive. She gave me modifications specifically for my injury and during an exercise noticed when one side was not as stable as the other and made further modifications. I really appreciate that since proper form is so important. The studio itself is clean, spacious and in a great location. And I love that they are partnering with local businesses for cross promotions and classes are in Spanish and English. See you in the studio❣️

Experiencia fantástica: Love love LOVE this studio, it's spacious and bright and the instructors are so welcoming and friendly! They pay very close attention to you, even in group classes. They explain everything clearly as you go and are always there to offer support, ensuring you are getting the best workout possible. Cannot recommend this studio and this team enough! Experiencia fantástica: This was my 1st experience with Pilates. I loved it. The instructors are trained to know if you have any body issues ie: injures. With this knowledge they assist you with your workout at your pace. I love this so much I canceled my gym membership and I’m going to go 2 to 3 times a week.

Experiencia fantástica: Pilates Republic is by far my favorite pilates studio in Playa Del Carmen. It’s SO spacious and you can tell the instructors really love their job. I love that they make sure you have the posture right and focus on the mind to muscle connection. As someone who is still relatively new to pilates it’s nice to go to a space that feels welcoming.
