I went to Julio for 3 years when I lived in Mexico and I miss these massages more than I miss the tacos, in case that is any indication! He found every knot, every point of tension and expertly worked them all out. I cannot say enough good things…. It’s just unbelievable what he is able to do. If you want a real, truly therapeutic (vice just relaxing) massage, there is no better place in the world. Especially good for people who exercise or lift a lot of heavy things (in my case, my toddlers!).

The funny thing is you think you've had your share of great massages UNTIL you actually have an unbelievably great massage. This was by far the BEST massage I've ever had and I've had them all over the world. I had a pinched piriformis, tight muscles in my legs, shoulders and arms. I work out 4/5 times a week, mostly weight-lifting and some running. Even with stretching and rest the knots and stiffness are impossible to avoid. I'm extremely happy and grateful I found this place. My piriformis was pinched since late 2021. My legs are brand new and I feel like a million bucks. Definitely call ahead 24 hours prior for a reservation as they're booked solid. No wonder why! And if you have the bread, do the 2 hour experience, it's worth every penny. You won't regret it! I was in Mexico City for 5 days and I only had time for 3 appointments. The most easiest way for me as a Non-Spanish-Speaking visitor was to write a message on WhatsApp. I got a fast answer in English and also an appointment on the first day. Due to stress and also a 13-hours flight I chose a Deep Tissue Massage with Julio. Julio is a very polite and nice person. He speaks English and, after he asked few questions about my well-being, he gave me a wonderful massage. Julio has very strong hands and he knows how to apply the right (also powerful) strength to relieve tension in the muscles. He easily recognized which areas were more affected and, through various techniques, was able to relieve the tension in my muscles. That left me very relaxed and helped me sleep like a baby afterwards, despite the jet lag. Due to an existing sport injury to my both knees, I made the next appointment with the physiotherapist Rachel. She is also a wonderful professional: she asked about my medical history and then proceeded with different techniques to handle my knees. I can definitely say that she knows what to do: after one hour of therapy my knees felt good and the treatment eased the pain incredibly. Her English is very good and I also got a lot of tips and do-it-yourself exercises for home. My next appointment was again with Julio. I also had a Deep Tissue Massage and, after he worked on my upper body, he also asked me if he can work on my legs and also on my hurt knees. I was already convinced about his professionalism and I gladly agreed. With a combination of stretching and massage techniques, he managed to remove all the unpleasant sensations in my knees. I felt also profoundly relaxed - this type of massage is the best one could have! Due to these two wonderful therapists, I was able to enjoy the rest of my stay and also have long walks without having any pain in my knees, as it happened before going to MDP Masaje Deportivo. Also a big compliment for the colleague at the Reception: her beautiful smile and her politeness makes you feel very welcomed there. Their office is also well situated, easy to reach and the rooms are private and clean. Overall, one of my best experiences with massage therapists.
