Experiencia fantástica: I was in Cabo for a wedding and needed to find a place to train BJJ. After a bit of searching, I found Ground Dwellers and reached out via WhatsApp (found out later that they are also very active on Telegram and Instagram). I had an excellent experience training at Ground Dwellers during their Tuesday 6am class. Tre is a super knowledgeable instructor who has a great class structure filled with warm up, conditioning, and amazing live drills. Note if you show up for the early morning class and find the gates to the Plaza Agave closed, walk around to the back entrance to get in. Highly recommend dropping in if you're visiting!

I really like the emphasis on drilling because it helped me win one of my matches in my competition this past weekend. The instructor Tre had us drilling armbar to triangle to omoplata. I happened to hit an armbar from and unsuccessful triangle at my competition. Thank you ground dwellers for helping me get to the podium!!!

Thanks to the GroundDwellers team, I’ve found a new path / obsession. One that’s led me to being active and helping me in ways I didn’t know it would. It’s like physical meditation. The facility is top notch. Mats have good amount of cushion so you can work from standing or neutral. Folks from all walks of life and on all different parts of their BJJ journey. One of the only places with multiple practicing black belts in Baja Del Sur. As a white belt, there is a lot of opportunity to learn. Classes, open mats and lots of events to get involved with. Also lots of travelers coming and going to see different techniques. Love this place and my new team.

Experiencia fantástica: I am happy to share my experience training here at Ground Dwellers Cabo during the last year. The training here is top notch, but what really makes this place stand out is the people and the Ground Dwellers Community. It's become a second home for my 5 year old son and I, as we both train here. My son started first on a recommendation from a friend. The kids class is run by multiple coaches in order to give the kids a better instructor to athlete ratio. The kids learn important drills first. Class is filled daily with a mixture of fun, skills and challenges such as sparring. Our adult classes are fun as well. There are classes from beginners to black belt and the gym boasts now 5 black belts. Our team consists of guys and girls and everyone is super supportive and always willing to share with you something new. We also have the more competitive guys/girls. Class is a mixture of warm-up, technique, and rolling everyday. I highly recommend 6am-8am Throwdown Thursdays! The team itself has a variety of events such as open mats to get together at our gym and even join at other local gyms. We get a lot of drop-ins from people all over that love jiu jitsu and that's always a nice way meet people and learn together. I want to thank Coach Tre, Miss Cassie, Damien, Abi, and Audrey- you guys are the best!

Experiencia fantástica: Two stripe older white belt here. Awesome team at ground dwellers. A lot of higher belts. Had some solid rolls and quite a few taps (by me). No one cranked any submissions and they gave some post roll advice. There was also a brown belt visiting and getting some solid rolls.
