Experiencia fantástica: I came here on vacation and spent multiple mornings with these folks. They were immediately welcoming. I know little spanish, but jiujitsu seems to be a universal language. They're very understanding and laid back, but demonstrate excellent jiujitsu. The instructor taught in both English and Spanish, and I felt comfortable enough to ask questions. Everyone else also welcomed me and if I lived in the area this would be my home gym.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't train BJJ anymore, but I did train with Pedro when he was under another teacher here in PV. He occasionally taught classes there and I always found him incredibly kind and patient, and his classes extremely challenging while still being accessible for lower-skilled practitioners. Now that we live abroad and only visit PV, my wife trains here and Pedro has really created the perfect ambience. He combines high intensity training with high expectations, mixing in that same patience that makes his school welcoming and, frankly, perfect whether you're visiting or you live here. Nothing but praise for Pedro and his excellent school!

Experiencia fantástica: Got to train here while on vacation! Highly recommend this gym. It is very welcoming, great vibes, safe rolls and the instruction is great. Pedro is amazing! He teaches in both Spanish and English. We did both gi and nogi classes. Everyone here is very welcoming and there are other women who train regularly as well, which I feel is always a good sign! They have a women’s class also. I try to visit gyms when I travel, of course it is always intimidating but everyone here is super cool. Thanks so much for having us Pedro!

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to train when you are on Vacation. Great energy and atmosphere to keep your skills sharp on vacation. I travel to Puerto Vallarta annually and must always drop in! Highly recommended you get a week if you stay that long, comraderie and discipline! They have a core group of great paracticioners both male and females + kids classes welcome!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this school! I was vacationing 9 full days in PV. 7 of those days, I trained with Pedro and his crew. They were extremely welcoming and their space is large and clean. They have both morning and evening adult classes which allowed me the flexibility to continue to train regardless what my wife had planned for our vacation days. They were very quick to respond via Instagram which may be the best way to contact them.

It's only one year old, however they managed to have a great culture, students you train hard and technical. Pedro instructs in Spanish and English and makes sure everyone is drilling correctly. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Excelente lugar para visitar si estás de viaje, son muy amigables y amables con las visitas, nos encantó la clase de el Profesor Pedro, nos sentimos bienvenidas y seguras en todo momento, el profesor habla en lenguaje incluyente mencionando a las chicas todo el tiempo como por ejemplo: listas chicas y chicos? Y eso me hizo sentir segura y tomada en cuenta como mujer y no sólo en el masculino hegemónico. El lugar además está limpio, tranquilo, muy espacioso y la clase fue muy divertida además de que fue exigente. Aprendimos mucho y nos llevamos pura buena vibra a casa, muchas gracias, Oss!!

Experiencia fantástica: Pedro runs a great academy. I came out from La Cruz twice on vacation to train Gi and NoGi. I recommend coming in at 7 for regular all levels training. The 6pm class is good if you are a youth or white belt. It’s upstairs next to the Kumon, not the fitness gym. He doesn’t have signage at the time of this post. The spot has a great sunset view too!

Experiencia fantástica: I am from the United States, and I was visiting Puerto Vallarta for vacation. I make an effort to drop in at any gym in the city I visit. Being a smaller female, this can be extremely intimidating. I messaged Bahia on Instagram. Brenda responded super quickly and efficiently. She was so welcoming through the messages. When class started, Brenda was my partner which was great. Professor Pedro did a great job explaining the techniques, and scaffolded them very well. My Spanish is not the best, so he said the instructions in Spanish then in English. The class was a really great size. Everyone was extremely kind! I would have to say this is one of the best experiences outside of my home gym. 50/10 would recommend to everyone!
