Experiencia fantástica: I've been training here just over 4 years and highly recommend it. Everyone is always inviting and the instructors have lots of patience and are very good at breaking down movements and giving counter movements. If you're new to the sport or seasoned, is recommend it.

The Professor was excellent and showed the technique with details in both spanish and english. Everyone was very welcoming and I had some very good rolls. If you're in Playa del Carmen, I would absolutely recommend this school.

Jiu-jitsu is for self defense and physical training but it is also good for the mind. As a woman is giving me a lot of strength and confidence as well as making me feel comfortable with the masculine energy. The trainers are excellent professionals who are always taking care of the group and watching carefully the evolution of each student.

Experiencia fantástica: Trained down here for a month and a half. I had been out for eight months due to COVID-19 preventing me from training at my local gym, and hablo muy poco español, but neither one of these things were an issue. Training was great, and got some good advice here. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Estuvimos entrenando en GB Playa por dos semanas y sin duda lo recomiendo, especialmente las clases con el coach Thomas, el cual siempre te ayuda mucho en los detalles. Experiencia fantástica: I was on a short vacation down here last may and decided to train while I was in town. I called the academy and they welcomed me to join their class. There are no egos here and everyone worked hard. Professor Alvarez and the other instructor (a guy originally from philly) were excellent. I highly recommend training here and I hope to come back whenever I’m in town. Great academy, humble instructors and respectful students.
