Also then offered me a trainer, so that’s also an option. They had everything I needed and one of the partners gave me good tips for what to see in and around Bacalar. Loved the place :)

Experiencia fantástica: Impresionante vengo viajando desde España por toda la península de Yucatán y encontrarte un gimnasio como este profesional y con monitores que te ayudan en todo es fantástico. Se encuentra muy muy muy cerca de donde para el autobús así que lo vais a encontrar fácilmente y si te hospedas donde la laguna subes la calle hasta cruzar la carretera general y está ahí mismo. Además el precio el servicio y todo genial, os lo recomiendo!!

Experiencia fantástica: Es un lugar amplio y con un ambiente agradable, tienen máquinas muy variadas que no todos los gimnasios tienen. Los dueños son muy agradables y constantemente se encuentran disponibles y revisando el buen funcionamiento del local. Es muy buena idea que tienen mesa para jugar ping pong y un muro de escalar. 100% recomendado!

Friendly English speaking personeel with excellent service such as free cooled water and towel. Asked to make a protein shake after the workout and it was no problem. Would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a gym to go to while travelling and I came across this gem. 100 peso to enter but they provide a complementary towel and bottle of water. They have every machine under the sun, and lots of floor space. The only thing is, it’s a little bit of a walk outside bacalar, but it’s worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a big spacious gym, located by the main road; high ceilings and open air circulating. There is a large variety of equipments and machines to choose from. I am sure you can workout most of every muscles in your body on one of these sets. And, they have some open space and Yoga mats towards the back. There is a charming vibe that feels local, but also welcoming to foreigners. For the day pass, they provided a cold water bottle and a fresh towel. Raul, the coach, was kind enough to checkup on us, making sure that I was being properly hydrated and had a decent conversation with him. It was nice. They also have a ping pong table in the front; in case you are interested. We are planning to go back again once before our trip is over.

Experiencia positiva: Prima gym. Wel geen spullen om je goed op te warmen. (Foamroller, resistance bands...) Materiaal is er wel oud en roestig. Mensen zijn er vriendelijk en de prijs is maar 100 pesos, je krijgt dan een handdoek en een grote fles water. Ik kom nog wel eens terug!

Experiencia fantástica: Aanrader tijdens je verblijf in Bacalar! Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en voor de dagprijs krijg je er een handdoek en een grote gekoelde fles water bij. Bovendien staat er altijd een coach ter beschikking om je uitleg te geven over de machines of tips tijdens het trainen. Er is ook een klimmuur te vinden waarop je kan trainen. Gewoonweg top!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been travelling throughout Mexico for the past 5 months and joining gyms whenever I can in order to keep myself active. Gym 7 was easy to find with staff that were very helpful and accommodating to a senior citizen from Canada with limited knowledge of the Spanish language. The trainer was very helpful as well. I would highly recommend Gym 7 in Bacalar to all of my fellow travellers.

Experiencia positiva: Gym is ok to get you through a workout. Machines are a bit old but they still work (most of them). It’s hot in there as there is no AC - only a few fans that help a little. The dumbells don’t have any indication of the weight so you need to count the plates on them and compare them to find a matching pair. If you’re travelling and you just want to have a workout, it’s definitely a good option but it’s not the best gym out there. Entrance was 100 pesos. It includes a water bottle and a towel.

Ce n’est pas cher (budget européen), 100pesos la séance avec une serviette et une bouteille d’eau. La sourire a l’entrée. La salle est vaste et très bien aérée. Matériel varié et en bon état. Experiencia fantástica: This is a a pure diamond for fitness lovers, visiting Bacalar. The head coach Raulf as we call him, is super friendly and so helpful, service is his thing and he even helped us with tours on the lagoon and other stuff. You feel so welcomed when visiting this gym. The staff is great, the facilities are super cool and the equippment offers everything you need for a great work out. Besides that it's very priceworthy. You even get water and a towel with the fee! If you're visiting Bacalar and you're into fitness, you must visit Gym 7. All love. Best regards, Eva & Ulf
