Experiencia fantástica: Love this gym - I do a membership when I'm visiting for several weeks. Good machines that all work, plenty of room to do kettlebell or free weight lift. Patrons are well behaved and most folks clean the gear after they use it.

Experiencia positiva: If you are into keeping fit this could be a good option as it has the basic equipmemt and a few extras. They have spinning and also a cross fit area. Downside: not enough equipment and poor use of space. Gym could have more equipment but regretably does not due to improper distribution of areas. Also place should have extractor pit in to remove excessive heat as there is no A/C, or they should seal off the eare and install A/C. You'll be drenched in sweat within mins if you go midday.

Experiencia positiva: Nice gym in Zona Romántica in Puerto Vallarta. Located in the heart of the gay district, the clients are in majority straight. Lots of gay tourists too. Equipment is decent even if not really new but well maintained and clean.

Experiencia negativa: Safety Concern and Customer Service Issue I visited Big Apple Gym in Valle Dorado Nayarit and unfortunately had a concerning experience. I was going to go to this gym is Puerto Vallarta as well. I paid 100 Mexican pesos for a day pass and was informed by the front desk that the gym closed at 11 PM. However, at approximately 10:50 PM, an employee named Monserrath abruptly locked me inside without warning. She turned off the lights around 10:45 PM, which I initially assumed was routine, but soon realized the gym had closed early and the employee in charge of closing, Monserrath, had already left. After a few minutes, another individual had to call her back to unlock the door, which she did at 10:53 PM, while laughing about the situation. When I asked her why she had locked me in early, she mentioned it was their policy to close before 11 PM, contradicting what I was told earlier by the front desk. Also I asked her why she didn’t mentioned she was closing and she said she yelled she was closing. But I did not hear her at all. Does she realize some people wear headphones? This experience was not only inconvenient but also unsettling, as I was effectively trapped inside with no prior notice. It's disappointing that such a safety lapse occurred, especially near closing time when patrons should be treated with caution and respect. I attempted to contact management regarding this incident but found no contact information on their website, which adds to the frustration. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and implements better training for their staff on customer safety and communication protocols. To fellow visitors and tourists, I recommend considering alternative gyms in the area.

Experiencia negativa: This is absolutely the worst gym, it’s super dirty no air conditioning muggy and stuffy. The owner/manager of the club is very rude. The biggest downfall of this gym is the heat trapped inside and it not being clean. Equipment is super old, always broken machines and falling apart. I have never seen an employee go around and clean none of the equipment or restrooms. Absolutely disgusting as this causes for bacteria to grow As gyms are circled around being healthy this gym is not known for that as it’s not kept up.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great nice gym. AC is only in the locker room but it's nice to cook off in there. There are cold large water bottles and towels for sale. There's a free honey comb style shelves to put your belongings out you can purchase a locker cabinet.

Experiencia fantástica: Heads up: they do not provide towels, air conditioning, or water fountains (must buy bottled). However, the staff were nice and the selection of equipment for the price of a day pass (about $8.50) was certainly worth it. Great price for a gym in the area if you’re vacationing just come hydrated and be ready to sweeeeat!

Experiencia positiva: Large gym with lots of equipment. It does get really busy but if you're flexible and rotate around, you will still find areas/machines that aren't in use. A one-week pass is a great value for about $30 CDN. Even though it was a majority male client-base, there is a comfortable non-douchey vibe. One thing to note here is no air con, which is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars. 10 minutes of light warm-up and I'm already dripping with sweat. My favourite day to come is Sunday when everyone else is hungover, and the gym is completely dead.

Creo que deberían poner aires acondicionados, suda uno bastante y a veces sientes ya no tienes más fuerza por el calor intenso. Los ventiladores no son suficientes cuando se está entrenando fuerte. El personal parece amable y está ubicado en la zona romántica de Puerto Vallarta.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible gym with rude head coach, very small CrossFit area, super-hot with no AC, no chalk or foam rollers. Some of the plates were locked and unavailable for use.

Experiencia negativa: You can tell a lot by management when they get a bad review there’s no replies Management/owners. I was physically threaten by young man definitely acted like he was on steroids. I went to complain about this maniac The two girls behind a desk have no authority to anything, and they said there’s no management on staff. Too crowded, too much testosterone Young maniacs. I’ve also had a problem with one guy, wanting to take two machines at one time Because I was interfering with his work out.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a modern gym with all the machines and weights you need. Also, the place has good hygiene, with friendly staff to help you. PRICE? Great! 380 pesos for week pass, or 500 pesos for 2 week pass (January 2024). It is cheaper for monthly and so on, but most you travelers ain't staying that long!

Experiencia positiva: This place has alot of potential but it's a bit under managed. The weights are a random mess. How ever is very clean. The staff are nice. The showers are great .

Experiencia positiva: Big gym. Affordable. Nice staff. Best to go early before it gets hot out since there is no AC. Lots of fans though. A few negatives: no water fountain so buy water, or if you bring it you have to fill up in bathroom sink. Also the equipment is getting a little shabby and although they clean the place they don't spend much on maintenance. Missing knobs on equipment and frayed handles, for example. The free weight area is small but adequate except when it's real busy. Finally it doesn't seem like they ever organize the weights. People just put them anywhere and it's hunt and peck to find the weights you need. At least once a week could they organize it? Minor things. Overall it stacks up well against other gyms and is a good value, especially with the variety of equipment.

Experiencia positiva: Had a great time at the Big Apple Gym. Was not expecting much given it being a tourist location and most of mexican fitness is not very well funded/promoted. I was pleasantly surprised with numerous life fitness and hammer strength machines, countless cardio pieces, and even a boxing ring. The sled drag was also an expensive machine piece. Very cool. Being a powerlifter, I would love to have seen some solid power barbells - but overall a clean, affordable, and great experience.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible gym at the Zona Romantica location. If you like being passively I aggressively accosted while power snatching by the cleaning staff, this gym is for you. Cleaner harassed me on four separate occasions, different days, while the gym was open and other people were on the floor and when I asked staff to intervene they let me know that she *won’t* stop cleaning and she *will* interrupt my training. I wasn’t trying to stop here but she was trying to get me to stop training while I was mid-WOD. I was told that she won’t stop and to contact the management who has done nothing except ignore me. Very unprofessional, unsafe and disrespectful and they can’t even control their own staff. If you’re looking for a real CrossFit gym, go elsewhere. Avoid the gym. The management is horrible.

Experiencia positiva: Good size and a lot of equipment but many times smaller and a lot less equipment then what I’m used to where I live. People often use two pieces of equipment at the same time when you go to use something they’ll come up and say they’re using it even though there’s somewhere else. Took me some time to get used to the heat they don’t have air-conditioning. The employees are very nice and helpful including the trainers. Will come ask you if you need help. right near all the bars in the downtown area I would go back to this club and also recommend it.

Pas de clim, il faut y aller en début de journée lorsque c’est plus frais mais c’est bondé. Personnel très sympathique. Abordable. Le resto offre un menu varié à très bon prix pour tous, pas besoin de payer l’admission pour manger.
