Experiencia fantástica: Poder Gym — Manzanillo, Colima Poder Gym has been around for several decades and you can definitely feel the old-school gym vibe when you walk in. The facility is on the smaller side, more like a large garage, but it’s packed with a wide variety of equipment that covers most workouts. Most of the machines and weights look like they’re from the early 2000s, so if you like the classic, no-frills gym experience, you’ll probably feel right at home. The dumbbells are solid steel rather than the newer rubber-coated hex style, and some of the equipment shows visible rust and age. Even with the older gear, the gym itself is very clean and well-maintained. The mirrors are spotless, the floors are tidy, and everything seems to be in working order. I didn’t see any fans or air circulation, so it could get hot during the day. When I visited, the gym was completely empty, which makes me think it doesn’t get much daily traffic anymore. It’s definitely not a modern fitness center, but if you’re looking for a simple, quiet place to lift weights in Manzanillo, this spot gets the job done. I can't imagine the membership is very expensive. Experiencia fantástica: I dig this little gym for everything that it is — OG, metal-clinking, non-corporate & family style gym that is mellow and offers everything you need to get in a solid pump in a pinch. Great for all levels of fitness whether you’re an experienced lifter or new and looking for an easy place to get started without the big-box gym hu$tle. Great value.. highly recommended
